1. What's in it for me? You will join together with like-minded individuals committed to advancing the status of women around the world through service in our local community while enjoying life long friendships.

2. How often does your Zonta club meet? The club meets the third Wednesday of each month with the exception of July and August. A volunteer committee plans the content of the general meetings inviting remarkable guest speakers or making interesting presentations. There is always a general discussion pertaining to club business. We typically have a summer social event in July, usually at a club member's home. The month of December is usually a celebration of the holiday season, enjoying fellowship with our members.

3. Where do you meet? We meet at the University of Waterloo in the Laurel Room, South Campus Hall. Dinner is $22.00 and includes several entree choices, vegetables, salads and a marvellous dessert table. Parking in the U of W lot is $3.00 (coins).

4. Who should I contact to attend a Zonta meeting and reserve? Please contact Anita Gatti, Club President email: info@zontakw.com and she will have the appropriate person contact you.

5. How many members are in the Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo? As of June 1, 2011 there are 51 members from a wide range of ages and diversified occupations.

6. Who is eligible for membership? You must be able to answer yes to all of the following questions to be considered for membership.

I am a business executive or professional or have experience in a decision-making capacity in a recognized business or profession.

I am willing to commit time to service and advocacy projects in my community. I am willing to contribute financially to, and raise money for, local and international projects that benefit women. I am willing to attend, on a regular basis, the monthly dinner and business meetings.

7. How can I become a member of the Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo? Membership in a Zonta club is by invitation. The first step towards being a member is to attend a monthly business meeting to learn more.
